hi all, this proposal is that when your asking for a mission group or for questing or anything like that, you can not only say it in your area, but say it in other selected areas.

If your in nolani and it's deserted, it's alot easier to type your message, click on town selection and click on ascalon or yaks bend than to go to either of the places. just one of those bells and whistles to make the game easier.

so it would be like an extra tab on the chat window, with a drop down menu with every town and outpost, or with certain areas like maguuma jungle and subsections in them.

I think this would help gameplay but im worried about spammers. I don't think it would be that bad as you can only choose one place so they cant multi spam different cities. The city your in would be the default selection so it doesn't hinder gameplay.

any thoughts?

Interesting idea, but I doubt very many people are gonna like it. While it probably wouldn't be too hard to program (probably is the key word), I don't think it's a feature very many people would use.

However, I could see this as an easier way to tell people in other areas that you're wanting to buy/sell/trade something... A feature that would be unnecessary with an Auction House.

Other than that, it would probably go to waste or be misused. Nice idea, though.

Not because its not a usefull idea.

But because of spamming. The minute they add a facility like this, it will be high-jacked by sellers and buyers and anyone else who feels like using it to chat.

The temptation to be able to send a trade msg accross the entire game to every location in the map without even having to move, would be too great.

It eventually wont get used because people will turn it off due to the staggering amount of chat-traffic on it.

Imagine the amount of traffic you get in both the chat and trade channels in LA, Droks, Kenaing and the NF major cities all being sent to other cities in the map....

...you would have tiny, isolated towns which wouldnt normally have any chat, being flooded with useless stuff.

It would be too open to abuse to work effectively.
